
The USICOC Young Entrepreneurs and Professionals (YEP) hosts quarterly events throughout the year to support professional and entrepreneurial development, networking, and opportunities for building leadership skills through service projects for young entrepreneurs and professionals aged 22-40. Through these events, budding leaders have the opportunity to connect with each other and grow together.
BREAKFASTS WITH BUSINESS LEADERS:
The Chamber’s YEP team hosts quarterly breakfasts with C Suite professionals and business leaders to provide young professionals with the opportunity network with and to learn about their career path, challenges they faced and overcame, as well as their insights into the next wave of opportunity for the coming generation.
NETWORKING EVENTS:
YEP partners with a variety of young entrepreneurial and professional organizations to host networking to help young professionals and entrepreneurs learn about different organizations and connect with business leaders in different industries and professions. Partnering organizations have included the South Asian Bar Association, TiE, Indian Institute of Technology Alumni Association of North Texas (IITNT), the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce Emerging Professionals Group, Coppell Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group and others.
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
YEP identifies and organizes community service projects on behalf of the USICOC Foundation to support various community needs and organizations throughout North Texas. YEP coordinates a volunteer event, procures materials if needed, and brings together young entrepreneurs and professionals to serve together.
