Minority/ Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE Certifications)
Certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE), Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) and businesses the hold certain specific certifications may be considered for business opportunities with corporations with robust Supplier Diversity Programs or with governmental and quasi-governmental agencies with procurement opportunities.
State and regional certifying agencies provide businesses with ample opportunities to become certified. In North Texas, businesses may consider one or more of the following agencies for certification:

Texas Department of Transportation | DBE, TUCP | These certifications can be used to pursue opportunities with the private and public sectors across Texas |
North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) | MBE, WBE, DBE, ACDBE, TUCP-DBE | Many if not most of these certifications are accepted by our Corporate Members as well as Governmental and quasi-governmental agencies throughout Texas |
Small Business Administration (SBA) | 8(a) & Hub Zone | SBA Certifications are valid across the U.S. and may be helpful for government or quasi-government contracting opportunities |
Women’s Business Council Southwest | WBENC | This certification provides businesses with opportunities within corporate as well as governmental and quasi-governmental sectors |
DFW Minority Supplier Development Council | MBE | This certification provides businesses with opportunities within corporate as well as governmental and quasi-governmental sectors locally |
