Gupta & Associates, Inc. (GAI) was formed in January, 2000. From its inception, the firm has been focused on performing consulting engineering for electrical distribution and controls design, SCADA systems design, as well as instrumentation & controls design. GAI has specialized in delivering these services for water and wastewater projects. Facilities include water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, storage tanks, meter vaults, etc. GAI has provided electrical distribution and instrumentation & controls design services for over 300 water/wastewater projects in the past five years. We provide engineering evaluations, preliminary reports, electrical system modeling and power studies, final design, and construction phase services including construction inspections, field training, startup, and commissioning. GAI provides a full range of information and physical security capabilities that includes access control systems, CCTV system design, and cyber security. Our staff also provides programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) programming, SCADA system assessments, evaluation & master plans, field training, startup, and testing for the control systems. GAI provides power system studies to determine arc-flash and protective device coordination to ensure a safe electrical system. Recently, GAI extended its services to include Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection (MEP) design. Our experience includes HVAC design for multiple water and wastewater HVAC and ventilation projects. GAI is a minority business entity as certified by a number of different agencies. The firm has experienced consistent growth throughout this time and now over 40 employees. We have a complete complement of talented staff, including licensed professional engineers with a combined total of almost 300 years of experience. We also have a complementary staff of EITs, designers, CADD technicians, etc. This staff comes from a variety of backgrounds, but our staff has extensive experience in the water and wastewater industry in the electrical and instrumentation disciplines. This rich background and diversity of our staff bring valuable perspectives to the way we do our work.
